The Hurricanes (50-16) will play Wednesday against Florida. The Razorbacks (40-25) went two and out at the CWS for only the second time in eight appearances, the AP reported.
Also Monday, Vanderbilt freshman Jeren Kendall hit a home run to cap a three-run ninth inning comeback and beat Cal State Fullerton 4-3 in the continuation of a game that was suspended Sunday in the sixth inning because of bad weather.
The Titans (39-24) will face LSU in an elimination game at 3 p.m. ET Tuesday. The defending national champion Commodores (48-19) advance to play TCU at 8 p.m..
Lightning and rain forced the game to be suspended Sunday night in the bottom of the sixth inning with the Titans ahead 3-0.
In the nightcap, Virginia’s Brandon Waddell turned in his third straight strong outing in the College World Series, combining with Josh Sborz to two-hit Florida 1-0.

The 2015 NCAA baseball Super Regionals continued Sunday with four games. Defending national champion Vanderbilt wasn’t able to take the field against Illinois due to inclement weather, but two teams did punch their ticket to Omaha.
On the strength of a 3-2 victory over Missouri State, Arkansas clinched a berth in the College World Series. The same was true for LSU in the last contest of the evening, as the Tigers defeated Louisiana-Lafayette 6-3.

It appears the SEC may have 5 teams in the 2015 College World Series. That’s unheard of. I can’t recall one league having that many teams in the CWS.

LSU has ruled the Southeastern Conference — and the nation — in paid baseball attendance for decades.
Now the team can claim the Internet, too.
LSU baseball games this year drew more digital viewers than any other sports event broadcasted on the SEC Network’s online platform, SEC Network-Plus — far outpacing even spring football games.
LSU’s conference baseball games this season averaged nearly 20,000 online viewers per game — tripling the league average of 6,572 for online-only SEC baseball games and leaving Kevin Wagner smiling.
“The SEC was blown away by this. It boggles the mind,” said Wagner, LSU’s assistant athletic director overseeing the school’s SEC Network productions. “Going into this, we all knew the (LSU baseball numbers) were going to be good. I don’t think anybody knew it was going to be that popular.”
